Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

SAVE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON 

TAX PREPARATION FEES!

United Way's VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program offers free tax preparation and filing service to individuals and families with an annual income at or below $56,000.


In addition to saving on the fees associated with tax preparation, our tax preparers are certified by the IRS to ensure clients receive all eligible tax credits and deductions-which could mean a larger return for you!


Drop off all required tax information (see list below) to have your tax returns prepared, and then make an appointment to review your return about a week to ten days later.

What to Bring:

All Tax Information forms(W-2, 1099, 1098)​
Social Security Cards or ITIN letters for you and all persons on your tax return 
Proof of Identity (valid driver's license or other government issued photo ID)
Child Care Provider Information
Last Year's Tax Return if available
Real estate property tax receipt (if applicable)
Landlord's name, address, and amount of rent paid in 2023 (if applicable)
Bank routing number and account number for direct deposit
If married, both spouses must be present.
