Did You Know?

The Rockport Christian Resource Center was incorporated  in 1979 and is celebrating its 44 year anniversary in 2023.
Thanks to God's glory, the Rockport Christian Resource Center was able to assist over 2000 Spencer County families last year.
Approximately $40,000 in financial assistance is provided every year to help meet the needs of our Spencer County neighbors in emergency situations.
15.8 percent of Spencer County children live in households without secure access to healthy, nutritious food.
Food insecurity has long-term effects on the mental, physical, social and economic health of children and families. When children don’t get enough food, or don’t have a well-rounded diet, they have more trouble performing in school and maintaining overall health than their peers.
Each month we supply healthy, nutritious food to over 450 families.
Over two thirds of the food we distribute comes from giving individuals, churches, businesses and community organizations with the other third coming from Tri State Food Bank

Budgeting, Nutrition and Smoking Cessation classes offered by the Christian Resource Center are free of charge and open to the public.
Help with building a resume and job search are also offered free of charge.
Our Baby Shop provides assistance to CASA, DCS and others needing emergency baby assistance.
In conjunction with Lincoln Hills Development Corporation we offer access to a health insurance navigator to help families get insured.
